《原來海上沒有島》No Island In The Sea

海的對面就是台灣。小偉和表妹寄宿在福建外婆家，等待與媽媽團聚的日子。當表妹收到通知，即將到海的那邊生活，小偉不僅得和唯一的玩伴分別，通行證也遲遲沒有下落。想方設法阻止表妹離開的同時，他也逐漸看清了海的樣子。

Told from the perspective of a young boy, the film delves into family perspectives across Mainland China and Taiwan, conveying emotions that are heartfelt and deeply moving.

“Taiwan is just an island across the sea.” Grandma says.
Eleven-year-old Wei must stay in FuQing, China. and tries everything he can to stop his cousin from going to Taiwan.
